Jaywick Sands provides a convenient base from which to explore the Essex coastline. In one direction you can walk to St Osyth and in the other through Clacton and on to Holland on Sea. Further along the coast is Walton on the Naze and Frinton on Sea.
Our cottages are located to the far west of the resort centre of Clacton on Sea. To dip into the buzz of Clacton, take a 20 minute walk along the seafront or a five minute drive.

Jaywicks Sands is located in the east of England to the west of Clacton on sea. Easily accessible by road, rail and air. A train starting at London Liverpool Street ends at Clacton on Sea taking approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. A taxi at the station will bring you to Jaywick Sands in 10 minutes or pick up a bus. The nearest airport is London Stansted, and hour away by car.
Our cottages are in the avenues off the Midway within the area known as Grasslands and they are a short stroll to Jaywick Beach. Walk along the promendade or on the sand for miles. Walk east through Clacton, through Holland on Sea and on to Walton on Sea. Alternatively walk in the other direction on to St Osyth.
